One of the few series I would buy on DVD

ER is one of the best shows I've ever seen. I've been watching it from the airing of the Pilot and I've been hooked ever since. If you are looking for an emotional high this is the show to watch. The writers and actors are amazing. Each episode makes me laugh, cry, and gets my adrenaline pumping. This show confronts extremely controversial, contemporary issues and even though I'm not in the medical profession I believe that it is very realistic. Anyone who works with a lot of people day in and day out can relate to what it is like to be pulled in several different directions at once and still try to maintain a professional facade, which I think this show pulls off beautifully.

With a Gold box discount this is too good to pass up

Sadly, someone actually gave this show a one star rating because of it's regular bundle price. Today 4/2/09 it's offer as a Gold Box item. I just hope people seeing the lack of stars will know that it is due to the regular price for the bundle and not the quality of the show. I'd hate to think of people not buying this show and missing out the many hours of high quality entertainment it can bring because of rating the price alone.

ER 1 - 10

This is a great series. Of course the earlier seasons are the absolute best, but if you keep the basic premise in mind (emergency room) and don't focus on the character changes - then the later seasons are good too! It is fun to see it all from the beginning again, remembering how relationships developed and how things have changed.
