About the movie

The series, a theme which contrasts the town's sometimes cynical and commercial exploitation of the now ancient 1947 Roswell incident with the "real" Roswell event unfolding before the young protagonists' eyes. Liz's parents, for instance, own the Crashdown Caf , which serves alien-themed dishes, and it is here that many of the scenes of the season are set. While waitressing there, an argument between two customers results in Liz being fatally shot, setting the scene for the entire series. Fellow student Max Evans rushes to her side and heals the wound by placing his hand over it, bringing her back to life. He leaves a silver hand print on her stomach. This act arouses suspicions that follow the protagonists throughout the series.

"An excellent album to chill-out to. A friend who is a fan of Roswell had Sense Field's "Save Yourself" playing on his player when I walked in. By the time Sheryl Crow's "I Shall Believe" came around, I was sold and decided to go out and get the CD there and then. I have not regretted it! This CD has been permanently cued on my player for months now. The best of both the British alt rock (Coldplay, Travis, Stereophonics, Ash, Zero 7) as well as the "post trip-hop" (don't know how else to describe them) band Stateside, Ivy contribute some of the most hauntingly beautiful tracks here. An added bonus, the Dove's version of the Beatle's "Blackbird". Regardless if you're a Roswell fan or not, this Soundtrack is worth listening to. Go home, pour yourself a glass of wine, kick back and relax with this album in the background."
