"If you love watching movies that are very explicit and full of intimate relationships, you will absolutely love this first season of the Secret Diary of a Call Girl. You get a chance to explore her profession with all the drama and complications that comes with having that kind of job. The movie is full of complicated relationships with those who Belle(main character) loves. The only downside is that each episode is about 25-30 minutes long."

This is a great show, and Billie Piper does an amazing job as Belle. I was very excited that this show was finally going to be released in US/Canada only to find that the majority of the music has been changed during the show, to a bunch of music that doesn't remotely fit the show. Also the dvd quality itself is absolutely terrible. The show is out of focus and the lighting is horribly bright. None of these flaws were on the British version and I am thinking Lionsgate somehow majorly cheaped this down. I am very disappointed.

Fan of this series as well. Character development is delightful. If you're looking for something sex-filled, this is not what the series is about. She's smart, funny, and it is fascinating to watch her 'evolution' from someone that fell into being a call girl by accident. It's glamorized a lot, but does show some of the struggles with dealing with family, relationships, and life.
