"I was a late bloomer when it came to this show. Other than the occassional episode, I didn't even have interest until after the show ended. Then I got my hands on the first season, and went out and bought the next and so on until now I am left hanging, waiting for the second half of the last season to adorn my shelf along side the others. This show had me hooked from episode one on. I sat at the edge of my chair waiting to see how the girls would handle the latest trial in their lives, what the taboo topic would be at lunch, and how they would all end up. Mostly, I waited to see Chris Noth listed as a guest star, because I absolutely love the evolution of Carrie and Big throughout the show. There is very little left unsaid in this series, and there is likely a piece of each of these women in every woman alive. If you have never seen it, start at the beginning. If you have, watch it again. This is television history in the making, and even a repeat of this is better than having it disappear forever."

I bought this set when it was the goldbox special. I was so happy to finally own the whole set before the movie came out. After reading the reviews of bad disc I decided to watch some tonight. I could not even get the first disc out! It was glued to the paper! After removing it I attempted to clean the glue with a disc cloth, it did not matter. The disc will not play and skips. I tried the next disc which was also defective on the back, glue and marked, and it would not play. I did not even make it passed the first page which is the two discs. This is a great looking set but quality is very poor. If you want to look at the box this is for you. If you want to watch the discs, buyers beware! Not even 12 mins. and it is still skipping all over terrible quality! I am returning these and will not be asking for an exchange due to the fact other buyers have the same problem. Sad, it was a great deal.
