When A&E advertised their new series THE GLADES, it looked very witty and I decided to give it a try. After I saw the first episode, I wondered if they could keep the light homicide clever stories of "who done it" going with relatively unknown players. By the second episode I was hooked. I loved the cute bantering back in forth and quick one liners. All of the characters look like they "work well with others" even though the main detective, Jim Longworth says he does not. Everyone plays their part to a "tee" and I love the tense sexual relationship Jim and Callie have during each episode.
