"my opinion, there are only a few truly great television series in the sci-fi/horror genre, especially today. They just don't seem to catch the mainstream viewers' eyes and end up canceled. This show being canceled felt like a Terminator T-800 had ripped my heart out of my chest. It's really, really, really great. If you're a fan of the Terminator movies, especially 1&2, you'll love this. Lena Headey is extremely effective as Sarah Connor, but she brings more emotion to the role than Linda Hamilton did. She's smarter, less desperate, more caring of her son John. Thomas Dekker is fantastic as John Connor, as is Summer Glau as Cameron, and the biggest surprise is Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese, brother of John's father, Kyle Reese.
